Las Vegas Nightclub Dress Code For Men- The Definitive Guide to Getting In

Every nightclub in Las Vegas has a strict dress code policy. They have an image to uphold. The hottest DJ’s in the world on the turntables, celebrities filling the VIP booths and the sexiest ladies you’ve ever seen are common place in Las Vegas Nightclubs. We have written this guide so you know what is acceptable and what isn’t when it comes to what to wear. There’s nothing worse than waiting in line for an hour only to have the bouncer turn you away because you’re not wearing the right clothes. In Las Vegas, if you “Dress to Impress”, you’ll have no problems at any nightclub. Whether you’re doing bottle service or a club crawl, follow this simple guide and you’ll know what to wear to get into any Las Vegas nightclub.

Vegas nightclub dress code for men include: button downs, polo shirts & dress shirts

Shirts: A nice buttoned down dress shirt will get you in to almost any nightclub in Las Vegas, as long as it isn’t baggy. A sweater will also work but stick to solid colors. T-shirts are also acceptable but this is where things get a little tricky. If you’re thinking of wearing a t-shirt it will have to be nice, high-end, and form fitting. Don’t wear anything with crazy prints or huge logos plastered across your back, and nothing baggy. What we would suggest is wear the t-shirt underneath a blazer to get you in and just take the blazer off once you're in .

PANTS: Yes, you can wear jeans. Every major nightclub in Las Vegas will let guys in with jeans as long as they look new, aren’t ripped and aren’t baggy. You can also wear dress slacks.

SHOES: This is the #1 night killer for most groups trying to get into nightclubs in Las Vegas. You finally get to the front of the line and the bouncer at the door looks down at someone’s shoes and says “He’s not getting in wearing those”. It’s 11 pm and no stores are open to buy new shoes. Either the group goes in without him, or you’re looking for plan B. Do yourself, and your friends a favor, and wear dress shoes. Sure, they aren’t the most comfortable shoes to be wearing for a night of dancing but they’ll get you in the door.

Men’s Attire that is Never Allowed:

  • Hats

  • Jerseys

  • Basketball Sneakers

  • Chuck Taylors (or similar)

  • Baggy Jeans

  • Ripped or Torn Clothing

  • Shorts

  • Bandannas

  • Sandals

Keep in mind that all nightclub patrons are not treated the same. You might see someone wearing the same exact clothes that you have on and they walk right in while you get turned away, There is absolutely no point in arguing, it won’t get you anywhere. They must know someone that you don’t.

Also, large groups of guys have a hard time to get into any nightclub in Las Vegas. You should have some women with you, it makes getting in a lot easier. If you don’t have women to add to your group you might think about using a host to get you in.
